PHILADELPHIA, November 8, 2022—Today, XAVIER CREATIVE HOUSE (XCH) announced the appointment of Jennifer Blossom Beddingfield as the XCH Sustainability Executive. Since joining the agency in early 2021, Jennifer has executed her vision to drive sustainability across every business function, beginning with a sustainable HR framework. Among the infrastructure she built to integrate CSR into the XCH operating structure is the implementation of a complete modern workforce HRIS platform to automate processes for payroll, workforce management, human resources, talent management, and benefits. This system drives connections that enhance the candidate and employee experience and enable the agency to incorporate global ESGs into the company culture.

Jennifer accelerated XCH’s sustainable procurement efforts by creating a Vendor Code of Conduct, sustainable spend tracking, and implementing carbon accounting software to allow accurate tracking to offset emissions. She increased the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) score by 22%, advancing its EcoVadis standing from Silver to Gold in six months, and then to Platinum status six months later. As a result, the agency ranks in the 99^th percentile of over 100K businesses assessed globally.

XCH has always subscribed to sustainable business practices, beginning with the avoidance of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from its eco-friendly virtual launch in 2013. Because of Jennifer’s relentless pursuit of formal sustainability assessments and certifications, XCH, an MM&M Agency to Watch, has been recognized as a Philadelphia Business Journal 2022 Healthiest Employer, Inc. 2022 Best in Business for Sustainability, 2022 Aclymate Climate Leader, Green Business Bureau Platinum Certified, and Platinum EcoVadis Status. Prior to joining Xavier, Jennifer was a business owner for over a decade and then the director of the Alabama Women’s Business Center (WBC), a network of entrepreneurship centers throughout the U.S. that empower and enable women to start and grow small businesses.
