Xavier’s Big Idea About Interns

Learning in Lockstep with the CEO
Xavier Creative House prides itself on evocative designs and content that express Big Ideas. This same bold focus is applied to the internal operations at XCH. Founder & CEO, Sunny Beth White explains her commitment to innovative staff development and that includes the summer intern.
“I invited our intern to join me in the field and personally experience what it takes to run a creative agency.”
Over the past few months, Xavier intern, Allie Gold, explored hands-on tactics for business development, customer service, and professional development by shadowing the CEO on the following engagements.
- Full-day expansive photo shoot capturing the operational and cultural brand hallmarks of our client.
- Aesthetics consultation to capture the essence of the brand in a customer’s new location.
- Women’s conference featuring top speakers on sales, marketing, and women’s well-being.
The goal is to strengthen the bench with rising talent who test their business knowledge, creativity, and commitment to operate effectively in the faced-paced world of healthcare marketing. While a virtual platform helps keep Xavier agile and focused on the customer, hosting a local intern offers a personal touch when it comes to embracing the next generation of talent entering the industry.
Allie labels what she learned over the past few months interning with Xavier Creative House as a game changer.
“What surprised me most about working for a brand agency was the extent to which Xavier can make branding POP in regulated industries.”
XCH has amassed an impressive talent pool with specific expertise in promoting Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotech, and Hospital Systems. This year they added a public relations division to the company to concentrate on providing our customers with the added value of medical media communication programs as validated by key opinion leaders (KOL) to provide valuable educational and clinical information. Experience as an XCH intern gave Allie the opportunity to explore working for an agency with a health/clinical focus. As Allie completes her undergraduate education she can now view the coursework as a mere sliver of what she’ll learn once she works full-time in the field. Her senior curriculum can be customized to position her to hit the ground running upon graduation based on what she discovered about the healthcare marketing industry from Xavier Creative House.
